Everyday is Mother's Day
65
When is "Mother's Day" ?
Could it be the first time you see your child after it is born and you hear it's cry and see it's life and know it is a living part of you and you are glad you are the one called "Mother";
or... could it be rocking the little one to sleep singing "20 Froggies", or some such lullaby, and having the sweet child look into your eyes and smile and fall asleep as thus, knowing itself to be safe and secure in your arms.
Maybe it could be a later time when the toddler took that first step, reaching it's little arms out to you and knowing you'd be there to catch them if they fell....or maybe it was their first word "Ma-Ma"...surely that must be Mother's Day.
Maybe it was the times sat reading together and answering hundreds of questions about hundreds of things only little ones wonder about....or seeing little eyes light up at the sight of a Christmas Tree or a Birthday Cake...or them running to you when they are afraid or hurt or lonely.
Could it be Mother's Day when that little one runs up and hugs you and says " I love you Mommy" for no reason at all...or maybe it's after a night spent in the hospital, sleeping in a chair to be near the little one who had surgery.
Or maybe it's holding the hand of one who has to leave on the first day of school be it kindergarten or college, or waving goodbye to your child who has just enlisted in the military.
Could anyone deny that Mother's Day is not just a day on the Calendar once a year but that it is 24 hours of feelings, thoughts, love, emotions, and heartaches...365 days a year?
It is tears of joy and sorrow, it is time spent praying and praising...everyday.
There has to be a special bond created by God between a Mother and a Child, and it can be the most important part of life for a woman.
I am glad I had the blessing of God to become a Mother and to be able to see my daughter become a good Mother.
Every day is Mother's Day to me!

- Women In My Family HATED Mothers Day!
My grandmother was born in the first part of May. Rather than celebrate her birthday on the day, it was combined with Mother's Day. Great for her, not so great for the rest of us after we too became mothers. Forget any plans our own children might have for us... - 3 years ago
- How to Make Your Mom or Mum Super Happy with 10 "What a great gift" Ideas
Moms are people too. Despite popular beliefs, moms do have a life of their own. In honor of my friends, I've compiled a list that I'm sure they would appreciate. Hopefully it will inspire you to think about your mom, who she is, what she gets into, what she wants to get into, and hopefully this year, she won't say, "You shouldn't have" or, "I would have been just as happy with a phone call." Cause quite frankly, we all know what that means. - 3 years ago
- Paint A Picture For Your Mom On Mother's Day
Painting a picture for you mom would be a very thoughtful mother's day gift. This project will be of a moderate cost because you have to buy a canvas, paintbrushes, and paint. However, if you are like me you probably already have these supplies... - 3 years ago
